Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) in the Microsoft Loopback Adapter Properties window.
Select "Internet Protocol
(TCP/IP)".

Click the Properties button.

Click the Use the following IP address radio button in the Internet Properties (TCP/IP) Properties
window.
Select "Use the following
IP address" radio button.

Enter the Virtual IP (VIP) address in the IP Address window.
Note. Use the same subnet mask as for the physical IP interface.

Click the OK button.
