6.2.3 Advanced Internet Access Setup (WAN Mode)

Use this screen to edit your ZyXEL Device's advanced WAN settings. Click the
Advanced Setup button in the Internet Access Setup screen. The screen
appears as shown.

(PPPoE encapsulation only.)
Specify an idle time-out in this field when you use the Connect on
Demand option. The default setting is 0, which means the Internet
session will not timeout.
Click Apply to save the changes.
Click Cancel to begin configuring this screen afresh.
Click this button to display the Advanced Internet Access Setup
screen and edit more details of your WAN setup.
DESCRIPTION
This section is not available when you configure the ZyXEL Device to be
in bridge mode.
RIP (Routing Information Protocol) allows a router to exchange routing
information with other routers. Use this field to control how much
routing information the ZyXEL Device sends and receives on the subnet.
Select the RIP direction from None, Both, In Only and Out Only.
