is ON, and a declaration of the ability for
reception arrived (expressed by bits 34
through 37) however, the machine does not

• Transmit to a facsimile machine for which
bits 33 and higher are not used.
• Transmit to a facsimile for which the abil-
ity for reception is not defined by bits 33
through 37.
