##333 [ TX/RX ] ROM check error has occurred for BJ
Cause
• The ROM for printer control is faulty.
• The system control board is faulty.
##334 [ TX/RX ] EEPROM check error has occurred for BJ
Cause
• A backup fault occurred in the EEPROM
used to control the BJ printer, thus destroy-
ing the data.
• The EEPROM used to control the BJ
printer is faulty.
• The system control board is faulty.

Remedy
• Turn off and then on the power.
• Replace the ROM used to control the
printer.
• Replace the PCB that includes the ROM
used to control the printer.
• Turn off and then on the power.
• Replace the system control board.

Remedy
• Turn off and then on the power.
• See the Service Manual for the model in
question to check the capacity of the waste
ink in the ink absorber; then, register an
approximate capacity value once again.
• Turn off and then on the power.
• Replace the system control board.
