#008 [ TX ] Password does not match for polling
Cause
• During Canon mode polling, the password
of the machine and that of the other party
do not match.
• During polling that uses a subaddress, the
password of the machine and that of the
other machine do not match.
#009 [ RX ] Recording paper has jammed or the
Cause
• The recording paper is trapped.
• The recording paper has run out.
• The recording paper cassette is not set cor-
rectly.
• An internal mechanism is faulty.

Remedy
• If the other machine is a Canon machine,
• If the other party is a non-Canon machine,
• Record the protocol on a DAT or MD, and
• Match the password of the machine and
recording paper has run out
Remedy
• Remove the trapped recording paper.
• Set new recording paper.
• Set the recording paper cassette.
• Correct it by referring to the Service
