This chapter describes the packet filter commands.
51.1 Packet Filter Commands
Use the following packet filter commands to filter out specific types of packets on specific
ports.
51.1.1 Packet Filter Show Command
Syntax:
ras> switch pktfilter show [portlist]
where
[portlist]
This command displays the packet type filter settings on the specified ADSL port(s) or on all
ADSL ports if no port is specified.
The following example displays the packet type filter settings for ADSL ports 1 and 2. "V"
displays for the packet types that the IES-1248 is to accept on the port. "-" displays for packet
types that the IES-1248 is to reject on the port (packet types that are not listed are accepted).
When you use PPPoE only,"#" appears for all of the packet types. With PPPoE only, the IES-
1248 rejects all packet types except for PPPoE (packet types that are not listed are also
rejected).
