When "Remove Misfeed
Duplex Unit" Appears
A misfeed has occurred in the option-
al duplex unit.
R CAUTION:
• The inside of the machine be-
comes very hot. Do not touch the
parts with a "v" label (means hot
surface). Touching a part with a
"v" label (means hot surface)
could result in a burn.

Pull the lever in the center of the
duplex unit to open its rear cover.

Remove the misfed paper slowly.

Open the inside cover of the du-
plex unit.

Remove the misfed paper slowly.

Turn the green dial located in the
AAL128S
upper left corner of the inside of
the duplex unit to push out mis-
fed paper, and then remove it.

Close the inside cover of the du-
plex unit.

Close the rear cover of the duplex
