When "Remove Misfeed Y:
Paper Tray" Appears

Open the lower right cover of the
paper feed unit, and then pull out
the misfed paper.

Close the lower right cover of the
paper feed unit.
When "Remove Misfeed
:Duplex Unit" Appears
R CAUTION:
• The inside of the machine be-
comes very hot. Do not touch
parts labelled "hot surface".
Touching a "hot surface" could
result in a burn.

If the 2 tray finisher is installed,
detach it from the printer.

Open the left cover of the duplex
reversal unit, and then remove
the misfed paper. Do not pull the
paper out forcefully.
If you cannot remove the paper,
proceed to step

Push up the lock release button of
the duplex reversal unit, and then
hold it in place.

Slowly lower the duplex reversal
unit until it stops, and remove the
misfed paper.
