Description
The printer is out of the indi-
cated toner(s).
XXX: Yellow/Magenta/Cy-
an/Black
A communication error sent
from the engine to the controller.
In Sample Print or Locked
Print, Printing/deletion can-
not be performed from the
Web.
The indicated toner cartridges
are not set correctly or may be
of a different type. (The colors
of the toner appear on the sec-
ond line of the first/second
messages, up to two colors per
line.)
XXX: Yellow/Magenta/Cy-
an/Black
The waste toner bottle is full.
The cover of the duplex unit is
open.
The front cover of the printer
is open.
The rear cover has been left
open.
The upper cover has been left
open.
The following addresses have
already been assigned by DH-
CP: IP Address, Gateway Ad-
dress, Subnet Mask.
Solution
Replace with a new toner car-
tridge of the indicated
color(s). Even when yellow,
magenta or cyan toner runs
out, you can print in black and
white using the black toner.
See p.33 "Replacing Toner
Cartridges".
Turn the power switch off and
on. If the message appears
again, contact your sales or
service representative.
Set the indicated toner car-
tridges correctly, or set the
correct toner cartridge type.
Replace the waste toner bottle.
See p.36 "Replacing Waste
Toner Bottle Type 140"
Close the cover of the duplex
unit.
Close the front cover of the
printer.
Close the rear cover.
Close the upper cover.
Disable the default DHCP set-
ting in Network in order to en-
ter the addresses manually.
