Attaching PAPER FEED UNIT Type 1000
Preparation
When installing multiple options,
install the paper feed unit first.
R CAUTION:
• The printer weights approxi-
mately 31.5 kg (69.4 lb). When
moving the printer, use the inset
grips on both sides, and lift slow-
ly. The printer will break or cause
injury if dropped.
R CAUTION:
• Lifting the paper feed unit care-
lessly or dropping it may cause
injury.
Note
❒ The printer weighs approximately
31.5 kg (69.4 lb).
❒ The paper feed unit weighs ap-
proximately 6.0 kg (13.2 lb).
❒ The paper feed unit is displayed as
tray 2.

Check the contents of the package
for the following:
❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ Paper Feed Unit (including a paper
tray)
❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ Side covers
❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ Mounting brackets (2)

Turn off the power, and then un-
plug the power cable.

Remove the orange fastening tapes
from the paper feed unit.
