1.4 About the Communications Function for
the CompoBus/D (DeviceNet) Network
The E5EK DRT operates as a slave on the CompoBus/D (DeviceNet) net
work. Items (parameters, operation instructions and statuses) that have
been assigned as communication data on the E5EK DRT can be uploaded
and downloaded between masters and slaves.
16 read and write operations can be assigned as communication data, and
can be assigned.

As the data structure is flexible like this, communications is possible using
numerous parameter configurations, and the number of parameters can
be limited to increase processing speed.
