After the toner image is transferred to the paper, the toner particles are not yet permanently bonded
to the paper. For the final step in the print process, paper is transported to the fuser where heat and
pressure are applied to it. As a result, the toner particles melt and are permanently fused to the paper,
completing the print process. The print cycle repeats for the succeeding pages.
