ADJUSTMENT WITH TEMPERATURE PROVIDED BY THE
7
SUPERVISOR
INFORMATION:
To enable the parameter for this adjustment (P30.09) it will be necessary to enable the supervision.
This adjustment is available only for the port BMS1 and compatible only with the Modbus protocol.
The function involves use of the temperature from a Supervisor system. With this function, it is possible to perform an adjustment
at average temperature by simply passing the same temperature to all the units concerned (the Supervisor can calculate it by
measuring the temperatures of all the connected units, or by simply measuring a temperature).
If the BMS1 channel goes offline (Supervisor disconnected or faulty), adjustment of each unit returns to the relative local
temperature measured by the adjustment probe.
The variable for adjustment with the temperature provided by the Supervisor is the following:
Register/Coil
Protocol addresses:
Modbus
Standard | Trend |
protocol
40171
For reasons of safety, a second variable indicates whether the Supervisor has succeeded in sending the temperature (or
succeeded in calculating the average temperature, if used for this purpose).
In case of error notification, the SW sends the temperature measured by the probe of the unit instead of the variable sent by the
Supervisor.
The variable for signalling the error is the following:
Register/Coil
Protocol addresses:
Modbus
Standard | Trend |
protocol
025
Is managed as follows:
0: Error sending temperature / Error calculating Average.
1: Temperature send correctly / Average calculated correctly.
WARNING:
The two variables at the address I[42] and B[24] respectively must be managed by the Supervisor,
otherwise they have no meaning and the units adjust according to their own temperature.
The logics for average adjustment, or any other logics, must be managed by the Supervisor, as the SW
simply manages the value assigned to the variables that are made available to BMS for the function.
Enabling the function also automatically enables offline management of the alarm BMS1 (A711 - BMS1 bus OFFLINE).
The dedicated mask can be found under the main loop.
OBLIGATION:
Enable this function for all the units involved in adjustment.
Refer to the interfacing manual for further info.
The parameters for enabling and configuring the function are in the "Serial" menu that can be accessed with the "User"
password.
For the default values, see the parameters table.
