HEATING

6.1 Heating resources
The sources available for ambient air heating are the following:
•
Heating elements, managed as simple on/off loads.
INFORMATION:
The activation of the electric heaters forces the demand for ventilation at the maximum speed. This speed
is defined as the greater between P10.10 and that generated by the ventilation control logics.
6.2 On/off Heating element management
The parameter indicating the presence of on/off electric heaters is in the "Optional" menu, which can be accessed by
entering the "Service" password.
Electric heaters, when present, have two different power loads. Therefore, they are managed according to three heating steps,
as depicted in the diagram below.
The heating Setpoint parameter is in the "Setpoint" menu.
The heating differential parameter is in the "Regulations" menu, which can be accessed by entering the "Service" password.
For the default values, see the parameters table.
The association of the heaters with the steps reflects the "binary management":
•
Step 1: heaters 1.
•
Step 2: heaters 2.
•
Step 3: heaters 1 + heaters 2.
Activating the heating elements is possible only when all the following conditions are met:
•
Adjustment consent is active;
•
The heating element overheating alarm is not present (from thermostat);
•
the dirty filters signal is not present;
•
none of the compressors are in cooling mode;
