Configure J0 byte (Neighbor discovery)

Purpose
This system is capable to automatically discover the physical links that connects a NE
with its neighbor. This is acheived via J0 mechanism.
It is possible to enable/disable the neighbor discovery using J0 mechanism. The J0 byte is
present in the Regenerator Section Overhead (RSOH) of the STM frame and is used to
find the section TRACE message from the neighbor node.
Note:
received from the neighbor node, then the NE raises an alarm for TRACE
IDENTIFIER MISMATCH.

2
Select the STMn facility of the available equipment.

3
Set the J0 byte value in the equipment to discover the neighboring NE.

4
Set the TRACEMON as enabled to compare the J0 byte value that is sent and received. If
both the values match then no alarm is raised.

5
Set the OUTGOING TRACE="any value" in the NE to discover the neighboring NE.

6
Set the EXPECTED TRACE="some value".
........................................................................................................................................................................................................................
7
The Expected Trace should match with the one that it receives from the neighbor node. If
not, the TRACE MISMATCH alarm is raised.
