General facility access identifier format:

Description
The general forms of the Input/Output (I/O) facilities are listed in the following
requirements, where:
optional fields are enclosed in parentheses,
•
facility = the facility type
•
bay# = the number of the bay within the system.
•
shelf# = the number of the shelf within the specified bay.
•
slot# = the number of the slot or position within the shelf in which either the PIM or
•
the facility is present.
The SDH facilities are of the form:
facility-bay# -shelf# -slot# -facility# -(AU4#)-(AU3#) where:
facility = the facility type
•
bay# = the number of the bay within the system.
•
shelf# = the number of the shelf within the specified bay.
•
slot# = the number of the slot or position within the shelf.
•
facility# = facility (port) number within the slot.
•
AU4# = the AU4 number within the signal of the STM facility.
•
AU3# = the AU3 number within the signal of the STM facility.
