Cancel copy
This option interrupts an in-progress file transfer previously initiated by the Copy Remote
File option. A subsequent activation of this option will start a file transfer from the
beginning.
In case a remote upload file transfer is autonomously or manually canceled, partially
transferred files might exist on the RFS after an upload gets canceled. The system does not
take care of these remote files. It is the responsibility of the RFS maintained in this case to
do the clean up, or to reuse the same storage location for future backups by using the
overwrite option.
When this option completes successfully, the message indicates that the file transfer
initiated by the Copy Remote File option was not completed successfully.
In the case where a Copy Remote File option is executing with parameter OVWRT set to
Y, this option does not restore the data that was present before the Copy Remote File
option command started.
