Figure 4-29 PM mode - STM PM
The PM Mode tab displays the following two panels that are used to set and retrieve the
PM Mode:
Set Performance Monitoring Mode
Retrieve Performance Monitoring Mode
The Set Performance Monitoring Mode panel displays the following parameters:
Access Identifier - Specifies the Access Identifier for the selected STMn port.
Location - Specifies the location. The values are NEND, FEND, BIDIR, or ALL. The
default value is ALL.
Mode Type - Specifies the mode type requires to be set. The values are ALL, S, L, and
P. The default value is ALL.
Direction - Specifies the direction. The values are RCV, TRMT, and ALL. The default
value is RCV.
PM State - Specifies the performance monitoring state. The values are ON, OFF, or
DISABLED. The default value is DISABLED.
Time period - Specifies the time interval for the which the report is being generated.
The values are 15-MIN, 1-DAY, or BOTH. The default value is BOTH.
The Save link allows to store all the selections to set the performance monitoring mode.
The Retrieve Performance Monitoring Mode panel allows the parameters to retrieve the
PM Mode values that are:
Access Identifier - Specifies the Access Identifier for the selected STMn port.
