1. Component Video Output Level Check
Refer to 4-1 page for the operation method of the maintenance mode when checking.
(1) Connect as connection 1.
(2) Push S1101 on the SS-63 board so as to enter the maintenance mode.
(3) Select C21: VIDEO TEST SG of C2: AUDIO/VIDEO CHECK of the maintenance mode.
(4) Set TEST SG output to "100% Color Bars".
(5) Check using a waveform monitor that the levels of Y, R-Y and B-Y satisfy the specifications.
When the specifications are satisfied, perform "2. Component Video Betacam Output Level Check".
If the specifications are not satisfied, perform "2. Component Video Output Level Adjustment" of
Section 6-9-2 of the maintenance manual part 1. (Electrical adjustment after replacement of the
VPR-17 board.)
