config>qos>access-egress
Description
This command creates a text description stored in the configuration file for a configuration
context.
The description command associates a text string with a configuration context to help identify the
context in the configuration file.
The no form of this command removes any description string from the context.
Default
No description is associated with the configuration context.
Parameters
description-string — A text string describing the entity. Allowed values are any string up to 80 characters
long composed of printable, 7-bit ASCII characters. If the string contains special characters (#, $,
spaces, etc.), the entire string must be enclosed within double quotes.
access-egress
Syntax
access-egress policy-id [create]
no access-egress policy-id

Description
This command is used to create or edit an access egress QoS policy. The egress policy defines the
remark policy for the traffic egressing on the access port. Remarking is disabled by default on the
access egress policies. The policy can be applied to multiple access ports. The access egress policy
is common to services (SAPs) that are all egressing on a particular port.
Any changes made to an existing policy are applied to all access ports on which the policy is
specified.
This command is used to create or edit a access egress QoS policy. The egress policy defines the
queue parameters (CIR/PIR) for each of the forwarding class traffic as they egress on the access
port. Policies in effect are templates that can be applied to multiple access ports as long as the
