Tips: A document can be loaded and prepared for transmission while the machine is
sending or receiving another message (as long as the document tray is empty). To do
this, load the document, select the location and press the Start key. The document will
be sent after completion of the current operation.
1 Adjust the document guides to the width of the documents being sent.
2 Neatly stack the documents, and then insert them face down into the docu-
ment tray. Readjust the document guides.
3 The machine will grip the documents and pull them in for transmission, begin-
ning with the bottom page first.
4 If necessary, adjust the resolution (Resolution key) and contrast (Type of Origi-
nal) to provide the best possible quality.
5 Document is ready for faxing or copying
