Display Error Messages

DISPLAY IN STANDBY MODE

In normal operating conditions, the top line of the display shows the time and the answering mode-FAX,

TEL, T/F, MEM, FWD, TAD or PC, the bottom line of the display shows the amount of memory available.

MEMORY OVERFLOW

This message is displayed when memory becomes full. Sometimes the memory overflow message does not

exist in memory.

2'ND TRAY TIMEOUT ERROR

FAN MOTOR ERROR

THERMISTER ERROR

Open and close the cover. If this does not clear the message, turn off the facsimile machine and contact the

nearest authorized Konica FAX dealer for serveice.

LAN BOARD I/F ERROR

LAN DATA ERROR

This message is displayed if printing stops on the personal computer side or the Konica FAX9840 machine

cannot receive a signal due to a problem with the network.

ISDN BOARD I/F ERROR

G3 Dual Line BOARD I/F ERROR

Turn the power switch off and on. If this does not clear the message, turn off the machine and contact the

nearest authorized Konica FAX dealer for service.

IMPROPER TONER CARTRIDGE

Please check to make sure you are using the correct toner cartridge. If you are using the correct toner car-

tridge, open and close the cover. If this does not clear the message, turn off the machine and contact the

nearest authorized Konica FAX dealer for service.
