Memory Password
This is a 4-digit numeric password used when the machine is operating in the Memory
Only Reception Mode (MEM). Persons who don't know the password cannot make
changes to or print memory data when the machine is in this mode. Registration of
only one password is possible. Speed access no. 05.
To Set Memory Password
1 Press Menu/Exit to enter Menu.
2 Input speed dial access no. 05, wait.
3 Input 4-digit numeric password (0000-9999) using numeric keypad, press Enter.
To Set (not registered)
4 Input 4-digit password(0000-9999) 4' Input 4-digit password using numeric
using numeric keypad,
5 Press Menu/Exit to return
to standby mode.
Restricted Access ID
This is a 4-digit numeric password that must be input to gain access to machine opera-
tions when the machine is set in the Restrict Access mode. Up to 24 restriction ID
passwords can be registered at one time. Speed access no. 06.
To Set (or Cancel) Restricted Access ID
1 Press Menu/Exit to enter Menu.
2 Input speed access no. 06, wait.
3 Input department number (1-24), press Enter.

To Cancel (registered)
keypad, press Enter.
5' If password matches registered
number, display will show "Pass-
word Close?"
If numbers do not match, display
will show "Invalid Password".
6' At "Password Close" press Enter to
confirm password cancellation.
7' Press Menu/Exit to return to standby
mode.
