Connecting Power Cord
Warning: Before connecting the power cord, please ensure that the power switch is in
the OFF position (
1 Plug the corresponding end of the power cord into the power inlet on the back
of the machine.
2 Plug the three-pronged end of the power cord into a grounded AC power out-
let.
Warning: Check to confirm that the voltage of the power outlet is compatible
with the operating voltage of the machine. Insufficient or excessive voltage
currents will damage the machine and may be hazardous to the machine op-
erator as well.
3 Turn the power switch to the ON position ( is depressed). the machine has
finished its warm-up cycle, the time and current answering mode will be shown
on the display. The machine is now in the standby mode, and is ready to send
and receive faxes.
