Power Consumption in Sleep Mode
The DG16 has a sleep mode which operates similar to most laptop computers.
While in sleep mode, the board consumes significantly less power. Power
consumption in sleep mode does not exceed 7% for both 5 VDC and 3.3 VDC.
The sleep mode is particularly beneficial for operations which use batteries or
solar panels for power levels. Use the $PASHS,PWR command to set the DG16
to sleep mode. The DG16 will reactivate with serial activity or at designated dates
and times via session programming. See "SES,SET: Individual Session
Programing" on page 155 for more information.
