ADJUSTMENT

This chapter describes the adjustments necessary when replacing a part. The adjustments
are made by changing the parameter value set in EEPROM on the Main Control PCB. The
parameter can be set from the operator panel (OL610e/PS only) or from the DOS Operator
Panel software (OL600e, OL610e only) .

Maintenance Menus and Functions

4.1.1
User Maintenance Menu—OL610e/PS
End-users can use this mode.
To enter the user maintenance menu, turn the printer on while holding down the MENU
button.
Functions:
Hex dump
Menu reset
X-adjust / Y-adjust
Detailed descriptions of these functions are provided in Appendix C, Software Diagnostics
& Adjustments.

System Maintenance Menu—OL610e/PS
Note: Only service personnel should use this mode; it should not be released to end-users.
To enter the system maintenance menu, turn the printer on while holding down the RE-
COVER key.
Functions:
Page count display
Page count printing enable/disable
Rolling ASCII continues printing
Detailed descriptions of these functions are provided in Appendix C, Software Diagnostics
& Adjustments.
