InstallationprocedureInstallingtheSystemSoftwareUsingthe
SST
ThesystemdatastoredontheHDDandusedtocontrolthehostmachinewillbelostwhen
the machine is first started up after installing the High Capacity HDD.
Itisimportanttoinstallthesystemsoftwareusedtocontrolthehostmachinesothatthe
machinemaystartupproperlyafterinstallationoftheHighCapacityHDD.
Detailsfollow.
1.Requirements
1)PC
Servicesupporttoolintheversionthatsupportsthishostmachinemustbeinstalled.
2)CrossEthernetCable
2.PreparingfortheInstallationoftheSystemSoftwareofHostmachine
1)IfbothPCandthemachineareon,turnthemoff.
2)ConnectthePCandthemachineusinganEthernetcable.
3)TurnonthePC.
4)Startupthemachineindownloadmode(safemode).
3.SelectingtheSystemSoftware
1)SettheCDcontainingthelatestsystemsoftwareinthePConwhichtheSSTisused.
2)StartuptheSST.
3)Clickcopytocopythesystemsoftware.
4)SelectthedriveinwhichtheSystemSoftwareCDhasbeenset,andclicksearch.
5)Clickcopy.
6)ClickOK.

4.DownloadingtheSystemSoftware
1)Clickconnect.
2)Fromthelistofmachineseries,selecttheappropriatemodel.
3)Select'single',andclickstart.
4)ExecuteHDDformat.
5)After5secfromwhenthepowerofthehostmachineisturnedOFF,restartthehost
machineindownloadmodeofsafemode.
6)When"downloadmode"isdisplayedonthecontrolpanel,clicksimplemodestart.
7)Clickstarttoexecutedownload.
8)Followtheinstructiononthescreenandwhendownloadiscomplete,clickOK.
9)ExitSST.
10)ChecktheversionsofMN-CONTandLANGetcinservicemode.
ExecutionofAutoAdjustGradation
WhentheHighCapacityHDDisinstalledtotheColorhostmachine,themachineinitializes
itsHDD,resettingthedatausedforautogradationcorrection.
WhenyouhaveinstalledtheHighCapacityHDD,therefore,itisimportantthatyouexecute
autogradationcorrection(full)sothatexpectedoutputimagesmaybeobtained.
