6.3 Print head height Adjustment

Adjust the print head height using the print head height adjustment jig.
(1) Loosen the screws holding the print head frame.
(2) Insert the print head height adjustment jig under the print head frame.

(3) Adjust the print head height to the following position.

• When the head protector is not attached.
(Standard)
• When a print head rubs with the media.
• When the head protector is attached.
(4) Tighten the screws holding the print head frame.
