13.2 Installation Procedure

1. Remove all the external strips of tape [A].
2. Turn off the main switch of the copier, and exchange the following parts:
Remove
Left Scale [B]
Pan Head Screw - M4 x 6 [F]
Pan Head Screw - M4 x 8 [H]
NOTE: If the platen cover has been mounted on the machine, remove the platen cover and
the two stud screws.
Install
Exit Guide [C]
Flip Scale [D]
Flip Scale Spring [E]
2 Flathead Screw - M4 x 6 [G]
2 Flathead Shoulder
Screw - M4 x 8 [I]
