3. Peel triangle seal from paper backing
and secure seal over opening on back
of receiver.
4. Peel 1 square seal from paper backing
and secure seal over USB door on side
of receiver. Save additional USB seals
for recharging.
NOTE: The receiver shield is not waterproof.
Be sure to instruct the patient on how to properly recharge the receiver
as needed based on proper Standard Precautions when handling
or using this device. All parts of the system should be considered
potentially infectious and are capable of transmitting blood-borne
pathogens between patients and healthcare professionals. For more

If a patient returns a receiver because the shield or seals are torn,
damaged or defective, assume that the receiver has been contaminated
and discard the receiver, shield, seals and spacer. If a patient returns a
receiver because the spacer is torn, damaged or defective, discard the
shield, seal and spacer and replace with a new shield, seal and spacer.
