G4 PLATINUM PROFESSIONAL SYSTEM
12.1 RECEIVING THE TRANSMITTER AND
RECEIVER FROM EACH USER
Before touching the transmitter and receiver used by a patient, make
sure the healthcare professional wears personal protective equipment as
appropriate (gloves, protective goggles, lab coat, etc.).

12.2 REMOVING THE RECEIVER SHIELD

Remove the receiver shield after each patient's use to help reduce the
spread of contamination to healthcare professionals and other patients.
You will need gloves, Dispatch
with Bleach (any disinfectant wipes containing a bleach solution strength
of 6500 parts per million with the EPA registration number 56392-8 may
be used), and a clean table or other surface.
1. Wear gloves.
2. Wipe the shield with the disinfectant wipe to help reduce the
likelihood of transferring contaminants from the outside of the
shield to the surface of the receiver. Allow shield to dry on a clean
table or surface.
3. Remove and change gloves.
