11.2 REMOVING A SENSOR

WARNING
Sensors may fracture on rare occasions. If a sensor
breaks and no portion of it is visible above the skin, do
not attempt to remove it. Seek professional medical help
if you have symptoms of infection or inflammation—
redness, swelling or pain—at the insertion site. If you
experience a broken sensor, please report this to our
Technical Support department at 1.877.339.2664 or
1.858.200.0200.
When you remove the sensor, make sure to pull out the sensor
pod while the transmitter is still attached.
1. Gently peel up the sensor pod adhesive patch from the skin. This will
pull out the sensor.
Keep the transmitter
in the sensor pod
Peel up the sensor pod
Completely remove
the adhesive patch
