The receiver shield pack includes:
• Receiver shield
• 1 triangle seal (tape to cover the slot in the back of the receiver
shield)
• 3 square seals (tape to cover the USB port)
• 1 acoustic spacer to ensure proper volume from the receiver
Before inserting the sensor and giving the receiver to the patient for their
7-day session, you need to place the acoustic spacer, receiver shield,
and seals:
1. Wash hands and put on sterile gloves.
Peel acoustic spacer from paper
backing and secure on upper speaker
edge.
2. Note location of USB opening on
receiver shield. Stretch receiver shield
over receiver.
