Receiver Main Menu Options
Menu
To show the trend graphs.
Trend
• The 3-hour trend graph is the default screen whenever

you turn on the receiver.
To start a new sensor session.
Start
• This option only shows if you have entered a transmitter

ID and you are not in the middle of a sensor session
To enter blood glucose values for calibration.
Enter BG
Profiles allow you to customize the sound and volume of

alerts and alarm.
To enter personal information about meals, insulin,

exercise, and health status.
To change the settings for high and low alerts. High and

low alerts and alarm are not activated in blinded mode.
High/Low
To change the time, date and transmitter ID; to look up the
Dexcom G4 PLATINUM Professional System hardware

and software version numbers; to view transmitter battery
status, last calibration value and sensor insertion time.
To temporarily turn off all communication between the
transmitter and receiver during a sensor session. You will

not get sensor glucose readings, and it will not extend the
life of the sensor.
To end a sensor session early.
• This option only shows when you are in the middle of a
