Inspect the blinking condition on each
high-tension lead using timing light at
idle.
Do all high-tension leads show blinking
condition?

Inspect the high-tension leads.

Is there any malfunction?
INSPECT IGNITION COIL POWER CIRCUIT FOR

OPEN CIRCUIT OR SHORT TO GROUND
Turn the ignition switch to the ON
position (engine off).
Measure the voltage between ignition
coil terminal C (wiring harness-side)
and body ground.
Is the voltage B+?
INSPECT IGNITION COIL

Inspect the ignition coil.

Is there any malfunction?
INSPECT ENGINE COMPRESSION

Inspect the engine compression.
