10 Turn the ignition switch to the
ON position (engine off).
Retrieve any DTCs using the M-
MDS.

Are there any DTCs displayed?
11 Access the APP1 and APP2 PIDs.
(See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC
TEST [13B-MSP].)
Crank the engine with the
accelerator pedal released.
Are the APP1 and APP2 PIDs
indicating that the accelerator
pedal is in the released position?
DTC is displayed:
Yes
Go to the appropriate DTC inspection.

Inspect for the following:
No Go to the next step.
Yes Go to the next step.
No Inspect the following:
