Active Disconnection Probe
Enable
Check this box to detect link connection status based on pings to a specified IP address or the WAN's Gateway.
Ping Interval
Interval in seconds between each ping if no packets have been received.
Ping this WAN's Gateway
To ping the WAN's Gateway rather than a specific IP address, check this box.
Ping this IP Address
Enter the IP address that pings will be sent to, to detect the link state. Enter the IP address of a known external
reachable server or network (for example, 8.8.8.8).
Force link down
Specify the number of pings, if which are unsuccessful, the link will be declared down. If disabled, the interface will
never be forced down if pings fail.
Received Packet Disconnection Probe
Enable
Check this box to enable link detection based on whether packets are received.
Force link down after
Enter the number of seconds after which, if no packets have been received, the link will be declared down.

3.3.4 STATISTICS

The statistics page lists the total number of packets and bytes transmitted and received since the time the units status
was listed as connected. These numbers reset to 0 when the Ethernet interface disconnects.
