Configuring Wireless LAN

If you are configuring the ZyWALL from a computer connected
to the wireless LAN and you change the ZyWALL's ESSID or WEP
settings, you will lose your wireless connection when you press
Apply to confirm. You must then change the wireless settings of
your computer to match the ZyWALL's new settings.
Click WIRELESS LAN to open the Wireless screen.
The following table describes the labels in this screen.

The wireless LAN is turned off by default, before you enable the wireless LAN you should

configure some security by setting MAC filters and/or 802.1x security; otherwise your
wireless LAN will be vulnerable upon enabling it. Select the check box to enable the wireless
LAN.
