PART DETUNE

Fine-tunes the PART.
MULTI MODE PART PANORAMA
Each of the 16 multimode slots has a dedicated panorama setting. This setting controls the position
of the sound in the stereo field. It works as overlay parameter to the single patch panorama setting.
Once you enable PartPan in the Multi Edit menu, the panorama setting of the patch is being disa-
bled.
Value
Description
OFF
The multi part is using the panorama setting of the single patch.
-63 .. 64
The single patch's panorama setting is disabled and this value is being
used instead.
Active Multimode panorama settings disable dynamic panorama changes by e.g. the modualtion
matrix.

PART VOLUME

Controls the volume level of the PART. In addition to PATCH VOLUME (in the EDIT menu, see appro-
priate section), MIDI Volume (Controller #7) and Expression (Controller #11), PART VOLUME is the
fourth option for determining the volume level of a PART within a MULTI program. Please keep in
mind that PART VOLUME is a bipolar parameter: In the negative half of the control range (-64 to 0)
the signal level is controlled in the normal fashion - i.e. the sound fades out as negative numbers
increase; from the center value upwards (0 to +63), extremely low-level signals are amplified. When
you set values greater than 0 for sounds that are already fairly loud, you may hear undesirable dig-
ital distortion.
