NOTE
As a result of the extended monitoring enhancements, any marginal hardware used in previous
releases may be reported as defective.
The shutdown action of the TM register monitor is enabled by default. Enter the following command
to disable this action.
BigIron RX# no sysmon tm reg shutdown
Syntax: [no] sysmon tm reg shutdown

The DRAM CRC detection feature has two methods to detect errors; an interrupt routine is used
to detect these errors quickly then triggers a shutdown of the failed Traffic Manager (TM). Long
term polling detects low rate CRC errors which will be repothe egress port. This process
generates a Syslog message.

Excessive errors on multiple links between
the interface module and the switch fabric
module.

to the TM to the NP then back to the CPU.
