37-1 create ipv6 neighbor_cache
Description
This command is used to add a static neighbor on an IPv6 interface.
Format
create ipv6 neighbor_cache ipif <ipif_name 12> <ipv6addr> <macaddr>
Parameters
ipif - Specify the interface's name.
<ipif_name 12> - Enter the IP interface name here. This name can be up to 12 characters
long.
<ipv6addr> - The address of the neighbor.
<macaddr> - The MAC address of the neighbor.
Restrictions
Only Administrator, Operator and Power-User level users can issue this command.
Example
Create a static neighbor cache entry:
DGS-3120-24TC:admin# create ipv6 neighbor_cache ipif System 3ffc::1
