If extension numbering is changed on the switch (using the MLX-20L console
or SPM), the switch and the application database will no longer be in
agreement. To reduce the chance that such changes will disrupt
communication between the switch and the application(s), Integrated
Administration includes an automatic reconciliation program that runs every
day at 3:00 a.m. The program compares the application database to the
switch programming and brings the two into agreement. The program makes
changes, as necessary, only to the application database, according to the
rules listed in Table 21-2. The reconciliation program does not change the
switch programming.
In a Release 2.0 or earlier system with Integrated Solution III Version 1.0 or
1.1, use the System Renumbering feature cautiously. When this feature is
used, all messages and greetings for users that have been renumbered are
erased from AUDIX Voice Power when the automatic reconciliation program
runs at 3:00 a.m.
NOTE:
The reconciliation program is disabled in IS III Version 1.2.
