Recall Timer
Recall Timer
Use this procedure to designate the length of the timed flash that is sent when
Recall is used to disconnect a call and get a new dial tone without hanging
up. Both the interval of the timed flash and how Recall works depend on the
type of telephone and system operating mode.
The recall timer should be reset if multiline telephone users experience either
of the following problems:
Nothing happens when the user presses the Recall button on an
outside call. This indicates that the interval is too short and should be
increased to 650 milliseconds or 1 second.
In a system operating in Behind Switch mode, the call is disconnected
when the user presses the Recall button on an outside call. This
indicates that the interval is too long and should be decreased to 350
milliseconds.
