If you are setting up a mirror repository on a machine that is in a different
domain, you must assign access rights to the Repository shares to allow
administration via the Management Console.
You can assign access rights to individual users, user groups, or a
combination of both. By default, the group for designated
Administrators of the target domain is selected.

When you close this window, the Management Console automatically
checks the status of all installed components and any mirror repositories
you might have created. To prevent that check, you can deselect the
Automatically check mirror status on entry and exit option.
