Rescanning the machines

When you believe that the virus problem has been resolved on a machine or
group of machines, or you want to disinfect any machines, you may re-scan
them.
1. For single machines, right-click the machine and choose Scan.
2. Enter any additional command-line options, and then click OK.

Viewing the virus scan status report

Whenever you request a scan, a report is generated showing the status of
every virus scan. You can view today's scan, all scans, or those within a range
of dates or times. Reports can apply to machines within any domain or
member group.
For a group of machines, right-click the anti-virus domain or Members
group, point to Scan, and select the machines to scan:
• All Machines. Select this option to acknowledge all machines in the
selected domain or group.
• Unknown, Warnings and Alerts.

not have a status of all clear.
• Warnings and Alerts.
machines in the selected domain or group that have warnings and
alerts.
• Unknown Only.

The Scan Settings dialog box appears
A dialog box appears, informing you that the scan has been dispatched.
The selected machines are re-scanned, and the virus-scan status is
re-displayed. This can take some time depending on the number of
machines.
