Configuring Complex Domains
In order for local staff in each office to respond to virus alerts, you can create
an anti-virus domain for each office, including a mirrored repository. For more
details, see

Adding anti-virus domains

The Management Console can maintain multiple anti-virus domains. You
might want to create multiple domains to reduce the number of machines
within each domain, to split responsibility for different domains among
several people, or because the domains are physically at different locations.
Follow these steps to add another anti-virus domain:
1. In the Management Console's anti-virus domain view, right-click
2. Enter the name of the new anti-virus domain, and click OK.
3. To add machines to the new anti-virus domain, right-click the machines
4. Click

and choose Discover, or drag machines from the network view to the
anti-virus domain view. The machine name appears in normal type.
Machines with names in normal type are either not yet configured, or
they are configured but no anti-virus software has been installed. Bold
type means the machine is configured, and anti-virus software is
installed and ready for use. This means you can finalize the configuration
within the Management Console, before you copy any files.
Apply Configuration to configure and install to all machines
that are powered up.
