If the OPTIMIZER Smart Mini IPG has successfully exited from Medical Mode, the Smart
Mini Programmer application screen should begin displaying the IEGM signals and
markers again.
3.17.2 OPTIMIZER Smart Mini IPG Reset
If an OPTIMIZER Smart Mini IPG is in Safe Mode, it can be reset using the IPG Reset
feature of the Optimizer Smart Mini Programmer application under physician supervision.
To reset the OPTIMIZER Smart Mini IPG:
1. If necessary, initiate a link with OPTIMIZER Smart Mini IPG
a. Place (or replace, if necessary) the Intelio Programming Wand over the
OPTIMIZER Smart Mini IPG implant site
b. Tap the Start OPTIlink button on the OPTIlink Session Pane
2. Tap the Diagnostic button on the Menu Bar
3. Select the Special Modes tab
4. On the Special Modes panel, tap the passcode box, enter the passcode
obtained from Impulse Dynamics and then tap OK
5. When the Special Modes buttons become enabled, tap the Reset button
If the OPTIMIZER Smart Mini IPG is successfully reset, the CCM Status Pane will show
that the CCM Therapy setting for the OPTIMIZER Smart Mini IPG is "OOO", indicating
that the device has been set to Standby mode.
3.18 Data Storage
3.18.1 Implant Data
Information pertaining to the implant of the system can be entered and stored in the
OPTIMIZER Smart Mini. This information is displayed by the Optimizer Smart Mini
Programmer application whenever the Intelio Programmer is used to interrogate the
OPTIMIZER Smart Mini IPG.
To edit the implant data:
1. If necessary, initiate a link with OPTIMIZER Smart Mini IPG
a. Place (or replace, if necessary) the Intelio Programming Wand over the
OPTIMIZER Smart Mini IPG implant site
b. Tap the Start OPTIlink button on the OPTIlink Session Pane
2. Tap the Diagnostic button on the Menu Bar
3. Select the Data Storage tab
4. On the Data Storage panel, tap the Edit implant data button
5. When the Data Storage window appears, tab a field to display the virtual
keyboard and then proceed with setting the implant date and entering the implant
data in the fields provided.
Note: The Implant Date is in the following format:
