The upper left half of this tab is the parameter Scheduled. The Scheduled parameter sets the
total number of hours per day the OPTIMIZER Smart IPG is scheduled to deliver cardiac
contractility modulation therapy within the time frame set by the Start time and End time. This
parameter is calculated depending on settings for On Time and Off time.
Note: When the parameter Scheduled is set to a specific value, the Optimizer Smart
Programmer application automatically calculates and sets the exact times for the On Time and
Off time parameters using the default parameters for the Start Time and End Time.
For instance, if cardiac contractility modulation therapy rate is set to the FDA approved dosage of
5 hours per day distributed over 24 hours, it sets the following standard scheduling parameters:

7.14 Active OVO-LS-CCM Mode
When the OPTIMIZER Smart IPG is set to Active OVO-LS-CCM mode, the device no longer
detects the presence of atrial events. Accordingly, all markers associated with atrial events are
ignored and all parameters associated with atrial events are disabled. In addition, limitations are
placed on certain parameters in order to ensure that CCM therapy is delivered appropriately.
7.14.1 Marker Window in Active OVO-LS-CCM Mode
Since atrial signals and events are ignored in Active OVO-LS-CCM mode, the atrial event
markers are not displayed in the Marker Window.

7.14.2 Deactivated or Limited Parameters in Active OVO-LS-CCM Mode
Below is a list of parameters that are disabled or limited when the OPTIMIZER Smart IPG
is set to Active OVO-LS-CCM mode:

The display of PVC, AT, Long AV, and Short AV markers in Marker Mode are
deactivated
•
The Sensitivity and Polarity parameters for the Atrium are deactivated
•
The minimum right ventricle (V) sensitivity setting is limited to 1.0 mV
•
CCM Inhibit on PVC is deactivated
•
CCM Inhibit on Long AV is deactivated
•
CCM Inhibit on Short AV is deactivated
•
CCM Inhibit on Atrial Tachycardia is disabled
•
CCM Inhibit on Ventricular Tachycardia is enabled, with a programmable range
of 62 bpm to 110 bpm
