7.20 Crosstalk Test
The Optimizer Smart Programmer application has a Crosstalk Test tool which may be used
whenever device/device interaction testing (see Appendix III) is performed between the
OPTIMIZER Smart IPG and an implanted concomitant device.
To start the Crosstalk Test:
1. Tap the Follow Up button on the Menu Bar.
2. Select the Crosstalk Test tab.
Note: Read the instructions on the left side of the Crosstalk Test panel under the heading
"Attention!" before performing the test.
3. Tap the Crosstalk Start button on the Crosstalk Test panel.
The CCM delay to LS parameter will be temporarily set to a default test value of 80 ms and
V Refractory parameter will be temporarily set to a default test value of 336 ms.
To stop the Crosstalk Test:
1. Tap the Crosstalk Undo button on the Crosstalk Test panel.
The CCM delay to LS and V Refractory parameters will be returned to their pre-test chronic
values.
