3.11.4 LS Blanking Refractories
The LS Blanking Refractories consist of the following set of parameters that allow for the
masking of unwelcome signals (e.g., noise) that may be detected before or after an atrial,
RV, or LS event.
•
Pre A: Sets the time interval before an atrial event when signals falsely identified
as LS events are masked from detection.
Note: This parameter is active only when the OPTIMIZER Smart Mini IPG is in
ODO-LS-CCM mode.
•
Post A: Sets the time interval after an atrial event when signals falsely identified
as LS events are masked from detection.
Note: This parameter is active only when the OPTIMIZER Smart Mini IPG is in
ODO-LS-CCM mode.
•
Pre RV: Sets the time interval before an RV event when signals falsely identified
as LS events are masked from detection.
•
Post RV: Sets the time interval after an RV event when signals falsely identified
as LS events are masked from detection.
•
Post LS: Sets the time interval after an LS event when signals falsely identified
as LS events are masked from detection.
3.11.5 CCM Timing Parameter Modification
To modify the CCM Timing parameters:
1. If necessary, initiate a link with OPTIMIZER Smart Mini IPG
a. Place (or replace, if necessary) the Intelio Programming Wand over the
OPTIMIZER Smart Mini IPG implant site
b. Tap the Start OPTIlink button on the OPTIlink Session Pane
2. Tap the Parameters button on the Menu Bar
3. Select the CCM Timing tab
4. On the CCM Timing panel, modify the CCM Timing parameters as needed
5. Tap the blinking Program button on the Programming Buttons Pane to load the
OPTIMIZER Smart Mini IPG with the new parameter setting
3.12 CCM Train
The CCM Train panel contains the following parameters:
•
CCM Train Delay: Sets the time interval between the leading edge of the Local Sense
triggering event and the start of CCM pulse train delivery.
Note: When the OPTIMIZER Smart Mini IPG is in OVO-LS-CCM mode, the maximum
allowable setting for this parameter is 45 ms.
•
CCM Amplitude: Sets the voltage of the CCM therapy pulse.
•
Number of Biphasic Pulses: Sets the number of biphasic CCM therapy pulses.
•
Balancing: Sets the amount of time used by the OPTIMIZER Smart Mini IPG to
discharge any residual polarization at the electrode/tissue interface after the delivery of
the CCM pulse train has been completed.
•
First Phase Polarity: Sets the first phase polarity of the CCM therapy pulse and offers
the following options:
Positive: The first phase of the CCM pulse has a positive deflection (e.g., 7.5 V)
o
followed by a corresponding negative deflection (e.g., –7.5 V).
Negative: The first phase of the CCM pulse has a negative deflection followed by a
o
corresponding positive deflection.
